Revival
I've brought back the blog. We'll have to see how this goes. This doesn't really do any justice to what I would like to accomplish, but I don't feel like paying for a domain. So that's how that goes.
Nothing much new, gonna be starting to get mass busy soon, so we'll have to work around that... It'll be interesting to see how things go...

monotony
Nothing new happening really... life seems to be good for most of my friends, so I can't complain. Several thoughts have been rolling around in my head the past few days; the newest one: I think I may start my memoirs... Who knows...

The Sky's the Limit
Go after what you want in life. There is nothing stopping you. The grandiose of vistas is spread before you: the sun is shining in a sapphire blue sky and land stretches as far as your eye can see in all directions. The possibilities, the opportunities, being presented to you are endless. Think of what you most want from life, envision it in perfect detail until it's so real that you could reach out and touch it. Then grasp that vision with all your might and don't let go. Follow the road where it leads until you've reached the end. Through the high points, when you're standing on the summits, you can see it clearly. In the valleys, let the thought of it propel you forward so quickly that your feet don't even touch the ground. Yet don't make any hasty decisions. Be wise and steadfast in your travels. For in the end, the paths you take and the people you surround yourself with on this journey will make all the difference.

A New Day in American Politics
History was made this past November when Senator Barack Obama was elected by both popular and electoral college votes as the forty-fourth president of the United States. Running off of the campaign rallying cry, "Yes We Can!", Senator - now President - Obama instilled a sense of hope across the nation, promising a new way of running government.
Now another sign that this is going to come to pass has turned up.
President Obama left Robert Gates in at the post of Secretary of Defense from the Bush cabinet, and now he is considering another Republican, New Hampshire Senator Judd Gregg, as the Secretary of Commerce.
I must admit I was at first skeptical of all of the promises that President Obama was making as he campaigned across this country, but it seems that, as of so far, he is really going to strive to bring about a change in America. I pray that he continues to stay focused on the issues and resolving them for the good of the American people instead of letting politics get in the way.

Confusion
Have you ever had one of those situations where you're hopeful for something and you're torn between potentially false hopes and the reality of your life?

God?
I have a class this semester that explores the link between science and faith. Is there a Higher Power? If so, what is the nature of this Power? Omniscience? Omnipotence? Did this Being set everything in motion, sit back, and let things take their course? Or is this Being more of a personal Being, this Supreme Power that we more commonly know as God? I beg you, take a look at the little things around you and ask yourself, How could this have come about without some Supernatural Influence? Dig deep into your souls and ask yourself about your view on God; do you believe? Or do you know?
